The location of the apartment is very convenient to visit the main attractions of the area like Barcelos, Braga and Guimarães. It is located on a side street off the main road. It is part of a small block of flats. There is a Lidl on the main road which is 8 mins drive away. There is also a convenient store and bakery on the main road, less than 5 mins walk away. The apartment is great and beautiful too! It was clean and well presented. There are two large bedrooms, both with comfortable, clean beds. We liked that there is an ensuite bathroom and a separate toilet. We were four people after all. The kitchen is very well equipped which allowed us to cook our evening meals. The dishwasher was a great help for that. Great communication with the owner. The instructions to pick-up and drop off the keys were clear and easy to understand. On time communication.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They went an extra mile to make us happy. The helped book train tickets to Bon Jesus, offered us coffee before breakfast was available, kept our backpacks when we took side trip. Room was clean and comfortable. We like just about everything about this little guest house. Everything was very clean. There was a working teapot and coffee maker, and a fridge that we probably could have turned on. We did not try the breakfast, though so we have no report there. The day we left, they let us keep our luggage in the lobby until time to leave the city.
