It was incredibly clean and light. Very comfortable. The help from a very kind gentleman in the breakfast room with tea in our room( we English!) was over and above his duties whilst the breakfast was superb. Wonderful village on the Douro and wished we could have stayed longer.

Perfect place, we had a great time! The location is excellent, a relatively small town, the house has easy access to the river (a place from which you can enter the river and also sit in the grass) the view from the balcony of the room was amazing and there is also a swimming pool with a view of the mountains and the river.
