Fantastic location, hosts, breakfast. Very comfortable beds and large spacious room. Had a heat pump and very warm with great views. Parking easy outside the guest house. Great with a baby from high chair, toys, considered at meals (baby friendly options), and great cot with linen. Highly recommend adding on the dinner, was exceptional. Hosts are fantastic with lots of recommendations and very friendly. Our baby loved playing at the guest house with them. Perfect stay and can’t recommend enough.

The location is excellent only 3 minutes from the train station, room was a decent size, outside the window is a picturize river, the room and bed, are very clean. Breakfast the next morning we ate inside the restaurant, which was beautiful and elegant, the breakfast buffet was lovely, lot of fruit and choice, everything fresh and excellent quality products, service was excellent and so was the coffee. As we have to catch a morning train while leavening, the owner had specially to arrange a morning breakfast for, thanks a lot of them. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are ultra modern and clean. We had the 3 course meal - absolutely amazing and such good value for money with the wine pairing too. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough for a chill out break with fabulous food at a great price!

The hotel is very pretty, the room is big, breakfast is excellent, and the service is superb. Sona is a great host, she provides good explanation and guide us on touring around Duoro valley . She recommended us good wne tour , wine tasting and bread museum in the region.

We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!

    There are the most gorgeous views of the Douro Valley...

    There are the most gorgeous views of the Douro Valley vineyards and hills. Most towns are tiny but pictureque. The roads are winding, and some may feel unending. GOOGLE MAPS is not the best, but adequate for find the destination. WAYZE works better.
