The owner was extremely friendly and receiving, our room was extremely clean with all new furniture and very efficient aircon. The place was spot on, very clean, well organized, very modern, right in the center, only a few minutes walk from the restaurants, super market and the sights worth visiting. The bed was comfortable, clean. Towels and bathroom aminities were also very good. The parking space was just another plus.

I did not have a chance to see much in Castelo Branco thanks to the heatwave (above 40 degrees celcius), but from tourist guides and from what I heard it is worth visiting when the weather is a lot cooler in the future.

A lovely town ...local and friendly.

A lovely town ...local and friendly. A number of bars and restaurants dotted around and a nice evening walk around the old streets. Not much to do other than eat and drink, so don't expect too much...enjoy the quiet.

It's a city, the parts I saw where not very different than a...

It's a city, the parts I saw where not very different than a general city. Coimbra was really a very beautiful, green and architectural city. Here I've seen flats, long roads, not much outstanding different. Lots of shops but I would not sty here for a few days to visit the city.

Castelo Branco has grown over the last couple of years,...

Castelo Branco has grown over the last couple of years, would have loved to explore for another day or two. That being said, the city center has been nicely upgraded with the large square between the former barracks and the Defesa area. Pity that the former swimming pool just under the Castelo has fallen into decay to be substituted by a new swimming pool in the direction of the industrial area, which I hear is a popular venue.

It was very noisy caused by other guests the radio was constantly on in the bedroom even though you could not switch it off I had to go down to reception and get them to turn it off from their office also I only noticed after I left and got to my next hotel that pot of face cream I use which was a brand-new pot and hardly used and still full was empty obviously they had stolen the contents and replaced it with something else which didn’t smell nothing like what was in the pot of cream before I am absolutely disgusted If I’d known they were going to steal from me like that I certainly would have not left the money as a tip on the side and also I would most definitely lock my stuff up everything other than that the food was delicious and the staff were excellent even understanding my English

Everything was great. Good comfortable rooms. Excellent facilities with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, turkish bath, tennis court, squash court and more. Breakfast was very complete and of great quality (the fried eggs and bacon were just perfect). Location is just outside the castle and therefore slightly outside town but that means it has a very open view which we really liked and anyway everything is very close in Castelo Branco.

This is THE location if you're staying in Castelo Branco. I couldn't ask for more. Shops, sightseeing, tourism all on our doorstep. I would 100% recommend this accommodation. Clean, quiet (apart from world Cup roars 🤣🤣). The price for our 3 night stay was excellent. Was able to leave our luggage in a safe place as we were too early for check-in. Host was so helpful. Would so love to return to this location. Thank you so much.

All the things one would expect from a hotel. I was just there for a night, but I showed up very early and the staff was kind enough to let me store my luggage until the room was ready for check in. Then they let me check in early once the room was clean. The room was lovely, the breakfast was good, although not heaps of options for the vegan or gluten free people.

I had a very quiet room, faced to the interior, good for my sleep! Good WiFi. Great location, a short walk from the bus station. The hotell gave a fresh impression, very tastefully and nicely renovated. Quick response from staff via Whatsapp by messaging.Kitchen well equipped.
