This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and went out their way to make our trip very enjoyable. Every single member of staff were lovely and just made our stay so much better. They even fixed my husbands glasses, allowed us to shower after we checked out as our flight was in the night. The hotel is very very clean, amazing facilities such as the indoor pool, sauna and roof top with Infinity pool. Breakfast options are good with gluten free options available. You are able to order things from a menu (all for free), such as pancakes, eggs, crepes etc and also enjoy the self-service set up with a range of different foods. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you do come to Faro. I would definitely come back!! Thanks to the amazing team!

Absolutely loved our stay – felt like a second home! Everything was spotless, cozy, and welcoming—truly no complaints. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, which was the perfect way to kick off the holiday after a flight. We’d asked for a couple of extra duvets since we're used to sleeping under separate ones—didn’t end up needing them, but the staff handled the request quickly and without fuss. Special shoutout to Filipe—what a legend! From the first moment, he showed us around and instantly felt more like a friend than a hotel staff member. He went above and beyond, even making us personalized lists of restaurants and places to check out. We didn’t make it to all of them, so we’re already saving some spots for next time. Hope to see him again on our next visit! The room had everything: bathrobes, slippers, ironing board with iron, coffee machine, teapot, hairdryer—you name it. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, and honestly, that made it feel like a 5-star experience. Nothing beats coming back to a spotless room after a long day out exploring. And the cherry on top - the hotel has the coziest rooftop ever—perfect for sipping wine, reading a book, or just soaking in the sun. Loads of comfy seating and sunbeds.

As an airport hotel, simply - perfect Perfect location. Very clean, specious, decorated in modern, simple design. Without anything excessive or intrusive. Beds are super comfortable and we were surprised how peaceful this neighborhood is since Faro airport is quite busy. Everything was were it should be, how airport hotel supposed to be designed.and organized. Hotel has my absolute recommendations.

When we first arrived we met Isabela & Bernado on reception. They were very nice and helpful. The hotel reception area was quite impressive with a very clean cut modern feel. Check-in was easy , we had two card keys for our room and all the hotel amenities were explained to us. We asked for an evening meal recommendation and were told about the "Old Tavern" in the old town. We went there that evening and had a lovely time. Not too expensdive either. We used the pool on the 4th floor. Not a big pool , but well heated and the location is quite sheltered. We had a couple of drinks from the roof top bar and enjoyed clean towels provided. The breakfast was a nice buffet breakfast again on the top floor. It wasn't too full and there was loads of choices of both hot and cold food. The staff were just as friendly as the reception staff. Our room was a good size , very comfotable bed , good air con. Not much of a view , but the hotel location is perfect for a trip into the old town Faro and a walk around the Marina.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast is good for the price (continental, with toast, boiled eggs, fresh juice, good coffee). Rooms are clean and big enough for a dogbed next to the bed.

Faro is the picturesque capital of the Algarve region, offering colourful streets and buildings, Moorish influence, and typical Portuguese charm. It is encompassed by the lagoon of Ria Formosa Natural Park, and offers wide beaches, a laid-back atmosphere, and a vibrant nightlife.

Occupied by Phoenicians and Carthaginians, and once an important Roman harbour and Moorish culture capital, it was almost flattened by the 1755 earthquake. Happily, the historic centre survived and is today one of best preserved in Algarve. Choosing a hotel in Faro’s Old Town will allow you to have a more authentic Portuguese experience.

    Faro is compact enough to see in 2 days. The old town is lovely and will be better when the derelict buildings are renovated . Restaurant is good. We liked O Castelo , the food was excellent, service first class and the Fado singers and players added to the lovely atmosphere . Avoid the little tourist train. It was very uncomfortable/ bumpy. There was no audio explanation on the 45 minute trip which took us round uninteresting areas of the town.

    Faro is a beautiful place with friendly people.

    Faro is a beautiful place with friendly people. Its small enough to walk around and has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The marina and ferry trips are fantastic with a trip to the Praia de Faro beach being a must! The airpirt is very close and the train station makes it easy to see nearby places such as Tavira which is stunning.

    We loved Faro.

    We loved Faro. Great place to explore, lovely restaurants, Dois Irmaos was particularly goo for seafood and typical Portuguese dishes. We went on a boat trip with Formosamar which was brilliant. We went to a deserted island then to Culatra island where you could swim or eat and drink at a place overlooking the ocean. You can also go bird and dolphin watching. It's very easy to walk around Faro, buses and trains are easily accessible to explore the area. The bus goes to the airport every 30 minutes and is just over 2 euros.

    Faro is so beautiful the building are amazing there was so much to see lots off things going on I took the ferry to faro beach 🏖️ it was amazing only 4 euros I walked round saw some great churches I went in a few sat and had lunch by the harbour.

    We were there for 3 full days.

    We were there for 3 full days. It was the first time back in 21 years so things had changed. However, found a couple of amazing restaurants. Lunch at Cidade Velha rooftop which was great, especially the cod loin dish and dinner at Escama which was exceptional both with regards to the food and the service.

    It is quiet and picturesque.

    It is quiet and picturesque. The beach surprised us as it was very good, empty and big and clean. Good variety of places to eat and drink. Easy to get transport such as bus and taxi to other parts of the Algarve. Friendly people We wanted a few relaxing days in warm weather and it was perfect for that.

    We are so grateful to Tatiana for her help. We were stranded in Portugal due to the power outage. Tatiana helped us get into our rooms- depsite the blackout and went above and beyond for us. Driving us back to the guest house and arranging a taxi back to the airport the next day for our rescheduled flight (she was doing this at nearly midnight!). She had even said would take us back to the airport herself if she couldnt find a taxi to ensure we could get back to the UK. Thank You so much :)

    A small hostel situated directly on the beach. Just ten steps away and you have the sea! Its a short 10 minute drive to the airport and then you can take the ferry from the beach into the Faro downtown for 2.30 euros one way. The beach is quiet at night and even though the hostel was full it was not too loud at night. It was fairly clean and a good deal for the money.

    Amazing hotel in the island. Staff especially Alex were fantastic, very helpful & knowledgeable. Hotel is right on the beach so an amazing location. Rooftop has a hot tub & bar.
