Quiet beautiful location, spacious and comfortable house with all the amenities! The owner was very friendly and helpful, letting us check in a bit earlier and leaving some coffee and cookies for us. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. Great value for money, specially for bigger groups or families.

I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.

We had an early morning checkout, and they thoughtfully prepared a delicious packed breakfast for our departure. The house is done up in a wonderful way. It has a great layout and a kind interior :) with eye for detail, nice materials and respect for the history of the house! We loved that is felt very local in the middle of the village. The host are super kind and communicative.
