I really liked the place, nature, marvellous view, polite and smiling staff; delicious breakfast! Quiet and peaceful at night ♥️ in the room and the area is very clean! The bed is big ( tall people will understand). We were delighted 😍 Will definitely come back here again !)

The two sisters running the hotel were very welcoming, going out of their way to look after us. It was out of season and I think we were the only guests. Nevertheless they opened up the games/TV room in the annex for us and served us a wonderful 3 course dinner with wine and coffee for a very reasonable price (also providing vegetarian options for one of our party). The hotel is beautifully positioned by the river, in the centre of the village, with hot springs bubbling up in the public gardens opposite.

Our stay at Casa da escola was a fantastic surprise. We went in with no expectations and came out feeling completely relaxed and well treated. The facilities and rooms are all recent and well taken cared of, the scenery is out of a movie scene and the peaceful feeling was priceless. Not to mention the hosts that were truly exceptional and kind people. We can’t wait to go back to Casa da Escola.
