I wish I could give more stars! The location was perfect - dead centre of Troncoso. The accomodation was everything we needed and more. The design of the apartment was impeccable and up market. The hosts were lovely and very attentive. They even repaired my mother's watch for her and checked that the restaurant they recommended would have the meals we wanted. Honestly one of the best stays ever!

The house was excellent. Very clean, very confortable. The rooms and toilets are excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. The dining and living room is really nice and with an amazing view. It is very close to Trancoso (which we liked) and also close (by car) to a lot of very cute villages. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. We were the only guests, it would have been nice if more of the rooms were occupied. It has a hostel feel, common areas, it would be nice to socialize with other travelers. It was too cold to swim unfortunately. Breakfast was good with mostly produce from their own garden - cherries, walnuts and almonds. Homemade bread and jam too. We were able to make bread rolls with cheese and meat to take away for our lunch. We also were able to have a kettle in our room and put food in the fridge. It is 9 km from Trancoso, so a drive to restaurants and supermarkets.
