    This is small family hotel with great pool and very good vine and food. If you need anything more for breakfast, they serve you. Staff is also great. On our trip over Portugal we have stayed in five 4 star hotels (mostly small like this) and this was the best.

    At the foot of the Estrella range the location is just perfect. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge selection to choose from. There are a good number of friendly cafes nearby to spent some relaxing time. There is a large carpark under the hotel.

    A very special place within an agriturismo setting. The staff were very welcoming and seemed to be passionate about the hotel and what it stood for - local produce, its own wines and nuts, the way it sat within the nature around it.

    We had two days of a quiet and relaxing time at Madre de Água. We were very happy with both, the comfortable room and the breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.
