We were four sisters who stayed at 1905 Zino's palace. The hotel is extremely pleasant, the staff are excellent and we were really well taken care of. We can absolutely recommend a stay as all the staff did their best to make our stay the best it could be. A thousand thanks for us and a warm greeting to all of you.

Wauw! This hotel just overrated our expectations in every way! We had a full apartment for our own, with kitchen, bath, living room and balcony. Everything was so clean and the beds were so comfy! In the morning we had a delicious breakfast and in the evening you can sit on the terrace and taste the Madeira Wine!

We had room 34 it was perfect. The staff was super nice and gave great advice about driving and hikes. We had dinner in the restaurant which is simple but very tasty. Also, it was easy to find and park and in the village.

    Madalena do Mar is a tiny village with two excellent fish...

    Madalena do Mar is a tiny village with two excellent fish restaurants, two or three beach bars, and plenty of banana fields. The nearest shops are in Ponta do Sol, and a larger supermarket is in Riberia Brava. It's a very pleasant place, free from traffic jams, noise, and rush. It has a black, pebbly beach with easy access to the sea directly from the pier. A car is essential if you plan to travel around the island.

    Madalena do Mar is an interesting place to visit and for those who would like to see special places in Madeira that are only accessible by car, I would advise you to rent a small car, considering the narrow road where many cars are parked in front of their houses.
