The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and we had the sole use of the garden and pool. Everything was clean and we were convenient to visit Coimbra. The host responded quickly to messages and was very helpful when I lost the information on the Booking,com app as my phone developed a problem.

It is situated almost along the Camino in a quiet place. I had a very good rest in comfy bed with crispy sheets. It is definitely worth the money I payed - so fresh and clean the room and shower. And breakfast for an additional 5 euro was good.

Palace is amazing , the personel described us history of this place. Rooms, corridors, staircase, azulejos have impressed us very much. I hope that we will come back here some day :) Breakfast was very good - fruits, ham, a lot of hommade cheeses, flakes for children, egss, sausages and of course something sweet. We missed vegetables but usually in Portugal it is hard to find some vegetables on breakfast in hotels.

    Mealhada is a village just outside of Coimbra, I travelled there by public transport and was surprised that it was so modest while being so close to Coimbra. The ability to be away from it all while still being close to a large city really appeals to me. I could live there!

The hotel caters for very few guests so they could have done better with the menu Swimming pool = five stars - cleaned every morning Room: four stars = the towels were very rough on my skin - the hotel could have done better by using high quality cotton towels and washing with good quality fabric softener Area around the property = safe and quiet - ideal for a scape from busy life

    Absolutely everything. This is an absolute gem. A beautifully restored farm house in a wonderful rural setting close to Mealhada and luso. Cristina ( the owner) and her staff made us feel so so welcome, we honestly could have stayed for a month. Breakfast was absolutely superb and the attention to detail at Quinta de logrossol is first class. Brilliant experience 10/10

    Great hostel/hotel. Pool was so nice, especially after walking all day. Owner's son chatted with us, and he was friendly and gave us the background on the ranch. What a historic and comfortable place to stay.

    Great property with lovely staff, great pool. Mealhada is the go to town for the specialty Suckling Pig. We do not usually like Pork but this is delicious and you have to try it
