The house is an historical jewel, perfectly restructured and maintained with charm! The host was born in that house and she made us feel at home while telling us the story of the mansion. We also had some gluten free choices for breakfast, even if we didn't inform the structure in advance.

A great experience overall! Tiago is an outstanding host, ensured a prompt communication and always made sure that comfort was guaranteed.🙂 Levada da Breca is situated in a remote but (VERY) peaceful place, such a great view from a typical Minho house👌 All the basic stuff you need is available in the accommodation, spotless clean and organised. We loved everything about this amazing place, the location, views, amenities and hospitality! The landlady welcomed us with freshly baked cake, had prepared icecubes and gave us a whole tray of roasted chestnuts :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Leiras do Tempo Cottages! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Henrique, the co-owner of the lodging. He explained everything clearly and accompanied us to our cottage. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. It is located in a paradise-like setting surrounded by beautiful mountains and the views were breathtaking. The staff is also very friendly and kind. Helena, the other co-owner, was wonderful too. She baked us a cake for our 33rd wedding anniversary! Finally, the food was excellent- the breakfast was abundant with home-made jams with locally sourced fruits, fresh home-made cheese and wonderful juices. The home-made cake on Sunday was equally delicious! We had dinner at the restaurant on site (O Abocanhado) and we highly recommend it. We had a peaceful and wonderful stay at Leiras do Tempo Cottages. It is the perfect location to rest and to explore the National Park of the Gerês.

    Paradamonte is a nice village close to the National Park Peneda Gerês, with lots of waymarked walks. very spread out village with lots of interesting water features,( two dams nearby) lots of open woodlands to walk your dog, and close to nice towns and cities.
