the staff is very friendly. Even running the risk of not mentioning everybody, I must name Ricardo as overwhelming nice. The restaurant is also superb (and very good price for what you get). We only had dinner in the last night, but we regreted: we should have eaten there every night. I must say that my experience was even better because due to a problem in the shower of the Superior Room we had reserved, we were upgraded to a suite, and this is a marvelous room. As my wife said, staying in the suite made our experience unicque.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We had amazing time here, the breakfast was amazing, our girls loved the pool. Easy way to get to the mountains. We had to cancel our first time because of family loss, so staff was really helpfull and waived the fees. And we are so happy we still managed to come here after all!

Perfect location, right in front of the municipal garden (with sound of fountain & water), so no noise of cars. Large beautiful rooms with good beds & shower. Kind staff. The check-in is efficient, even without the classic reception. The coffee bar next to it is a wonderful addition for coffee & drinks all day. Close to the bus station, restaurants & shops.

Owner and his granddaughter made us very thorough excursion about production of vines and plentiful vine tasting after that. Owner changed our room to nice suite without any surcharge. This was very nice evening and night in Quinta de Sao Tiago. Also good breakfast.

The property is great! Despite being a bit tricky to get to the location, the property is amazing, quiet, perfect for a romantic getaway, a weekend with family or friends!
