Its a lovely small coastal town, but parking is a massive problem, with many people parking on the pedestrian path, and yellow lines. If I was visiting for the day, I would have gone elsewhere, but as a guest staying for 3 days, we spent many hours trying to park legally. The house is exactly as described — clean, cozy, and fully equipped. The location in Ponta do Sol was perfect for us, especially since we had a car and wanted a quieter setting than Funchal. There is some renovation work next door, as mentioned in the listing, but it didn’t bother us at all — the view remains beautiful. Overall, it was a lovely, easy, and relaxing stay.
