Take a boat trip on the river or a ride in the cable car. Take an open top bus trip around the city. Porto is a beautiful city, with lots of interesting buildings and landmarks to see. The area along the old town and river is bustling with tourists and great to visit. Porto is very proud of it's many bridges, which was mentioned many times on the tours we went on. Lots to see and do.
Lots to see and do. Great shops, food markets, history, restaurants, churches, the river, cable cars, the Port! Easy to explore on foot, although some hilly areas. Porto was lovely to visit, lots of little shops for gifts. There are so many restaurants to chose from and the fish dishes are delicious. We enjoyed the boat ride through the 6 bridges. There is a tram ride to enjoy. Check out Imperial Mcdonald's and the train station for the tiles. The Crystal Palace park is worth a visit, with it's peacocks, ducks and chickens, a lovely place for a picnic. Lots of museums, and not forgetting Porto wine tours. The beaches were a bus ride away for a fixed price of 2.50, the ones we went to were a little rocky and full of character.
