The generosity of the owners: there was a bottle of delicious white wine and a small round of tasty cheese chilling in the fridge for us! Staying at Patio da Villa was like being at home away from home. Paula is the most gracious host, nothing was a problem. I felt like a family member, I was picked up from the station, and saw the end of day with some beautiful wines, dips local cheese and a light dinner. The breakfast was plentiful.
