What a little gem to spend some time in! If you are looking for a place to spend a couple of days next to nature and just relax, I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is very relaxing, the pool, green areas, the rooms, the lounge, Mr Vasco the owner has this amazing energy of someone who loves what they do and makes sure you are enjoying your stay! Be prepared for the heat though, this area of Alentejo is very hot, but honestly it adds to the experience! The food was absolutely delicious, from that first bite until the last, accompanied by amazing fresh wine and a warm summer breeze! Try it, I'm sure you won't regret it!

The accommodation is very cozy. Beautiful situated in Torrao, definitely a recommendation when passing by. Susy and Jorge are very welcoming, lovely people and make you feel immediately at home. The hosts Susy and Jorge are phenomenally welcoming. The house is perfect and the garden is a delight. Torrão is a really welcoming town with very friendly people. For a small town it has 5 restaurants and at least 10 other bars and cafes. There are some great walks from the house.

We loved the fact that the owner was there to greet us (which often doesn't happen these days). The cottage itself was lovely and very traditional with everything we needed plus an excellent internet speed (much better than our home speed). There is a pool and sunbathing area with sunbeds but as we arrived after 6pm we didn't use these. Parking is onsite and secure (there are electric gates) so if you're stopping here en route to somewhere else and have a car full of luggage then you know it'll be safe.
