It was an exceptionally beautiful historic house and garden. It was family run, current host was a lovely young woman, Ana. The location is in the Bairrada Wine region and Ana was able to assist in guiding us to wineries in the area. The was a nice breakfast and dinner was available on request.

Very new, very clean, excellent facilities felt like a resort. The staff member, Nelia, was friendly accomodating and helpful. Bed was super comfy and shower was hot with good pressure. Lots of coffee to go with machine, pool was clean. Check in was painless and breakfast was included. Accom was a short walk to a great restaurant.

The hotel was gorgeous, peaceful, and charming. Cristina and Francisco were so welcoming and lovely - it was a real bonus of the trip to get to know them! Our family felt so taken care of and we were able to really relax. I was a little nervous about bothering other guests as we had a newborn baby, two small kids and a dog with us, but everyone was really open and kind, and it was fun getting to chat a bit with others staying there! Very family friendly, beautiful setting, and dinner on site was an unexpected perk, as was the host's relationship with a local wine distillery that gave us a fascinating tour and a tasting. Thank you so much for an amazing vacation!

Very welcoming and charming host. Place is very nice to stay at, located a bit further away, middle of nowhere but offering such a pretty place to be and enjoy holiday. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, would have lived to be there longer! Room had everything one needs, lobby area ia amazingly pretty, common areas so functional and good that one can enjoy every minute of the stay. There is a lovely pool and even a yaguzzi next to that for guests use. Simply a treasure to find!

I recently booked this apartment thinking it was a single room with a kitchen, but when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a spacious 2 bedroom. We have all the area to ourselves it’s feels more like home. The house is beautifully maintained, and very clean. The young couple who own it are extremely welcoming and hospitable. I highly recommend this place for its serene environment, beautiful surroundings, and home like feel. Plus, it's conveniently located close to Anadia center. I will definitely consider booking it again in the future. Thank you Dulce.

My wife and I have been to many lovely places and met some wonderful people over the last forty years, but this holday stay stands head and shoulders above them all. The owners were incredibly helpful even before we arrived, making special arrangements for our dog. When they found we were just completing the purchase of a house in Portugal they went into overdrive, introducing us to all kinds of local tradesmen and giving advice on everything we needed. The property is lovely and perfectly located for touring the area between Porto and Lisbon. The breakfast by the pool was always delicious as they use their own eggs, fruit and homemade bread and jams. And just to exemplify what exceptional human beings they are, the hosts invited us to dinner on the first night we stayed and came round to help clear our new garden the day we left! Thank you Felipe and Soisick, our guardian angels. Fight to get a room in Covoes for your holiday- it is just wonderful!!!

Such a lovely wee spot… had everything you need. Comfortable bed and delightful generous host. It’s very compact but beautifully designed. Yummy breakfast provided. Excellent value for money and the owner kindly did a load of washing for us. Heaps of towels, lovely bed linen. They also have Netflix which was a bit of a treat!

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and we had the sole use of the garden and pool. Everything was clean and we were convenient to visit Coimbra. The host responded quickly to messages and was very helpful when I lost the information on the Booking,com app as my phone developed a problem.

    The house was amazing, 300 years old and been with current family over 100 years. Beautifully maintained and comfortable. I highly recommend visiting the Bairrada region, known for sparkling wines. Not as well known as Douro but fabulous wines
