Everything. The hosts were so nice, so welcoming. We travelled with both our kids and they were so flexible and nice to them. The pool is fantastic. The swing with a view also nice. The breakfast? Delicious. They served fruit from their own garden (we were there during the season for passion fruits, the kids ate them all) When we booked we found the price a bit on the high side, for sure given the location (a bit remote). But once you are there, you see it’s worth it. They are really such nice people

If you want to relax away from the everyday stress with just the sound of the Douro river, the birds and nature this is the right place! Cozy, relaxing and very comfortable suite with an amazing view! Restaurant is in a remodelling stage so they bring you a great breakfast to the suite! Really nice and friendly staff especially Liliana that is super sweet, pays attention to every little detail and makes the experience at dourwin even better! Just an amazing and 5 star place!

Luis and his wonderful wife couldn't do enough for us, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely and spacious. This establishment is family run, and Luis and his wife run it like a finely oiled machine! I would highly recommend this accommodation. Calm and relaxing. It's truly amazing!!! 10 stars ++++

We had an amazing stay at this house! Very cozy, spacious, and clean, with a breathtaking view of the Douro River. The house is full of history and a unique atmosphere, and here we truly felt the spirit of Portuguese culture. Everything is perfectly arranged for a comfortable stay. The hosts were absolutely wonderful — super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We left with the feeling of having touched something truly special. We will definitely come back!
