Torreira is lovely - very little English spoken but locals...
Torreira is lovely - very little English spoken but locals are super helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort with Portuguese! French will also get you by. Torreira is quiet area with beautiful sand dunes and uncrowded fishing beach. Everything you would need within 5-10 min walk. Fabulous bakery close by and lots of great restaurants (especially the seafood one - need to queue to get a table!) supermarkets, chemist, post office (English spoken well here) and cafes. Can walk from one side of the spit of land to the other - 2 very different areas both equally beautiful. Would definitely return. (Taxis not easy to come by and unsure of public transport from Torreira). Sea is quite rough and swimming not often permitted except for a short stretch which is patrolled by lifeguards.Guest review byDr Dawn

Very spacious and comfortable for our family 5 adults and 3 children. 3 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Outside space was great. Children really enjoyed the swimming pool! House was very clean and well looked after. Owners were amazing. They welcomed us on our arrival. They also helped us to plan our trips around Torreira. I sprained my ankle in the morning and made it to this hotel, they supplied me with ice and helped me carry my food to my room.
