With its great location on the banks of Douro and its unobstructed view of the Luis I bridge, we found that the Rebello offers an excellent accommodation experience: fabulous breakfasts, rooftop restaurant with splendid views, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and spacious rooms, pet friendly policy and, above all, fantastic staff - alert and always ready to help. It all created a memorable experience of our short holiday in Porto.

The mixed of traditional and modern style is seriously well done. Room was prestine, cot for baby was ready in the room when we arrived. View from the balcony breathtaking. Breakfast was abundant and varied food was available, from fruit to jams to yogurt to eggs… everything! Specially the mini pastries were delicious.

    The views across the river Dourro to Porto are wonderful, especially at night. A good choice of river cruises are easily accessible and the Port houses are a great attraction. Plenty of good, reasonably priced restaurants and Porto is 5 minutes away across the foot bridge. It's worth noting, however, that both Villa Nova Da Gaia and Porto, although beautiful, have very steep hills.

    We visited during the Sao Joao festival and although extremely crowded- one of the most magical nights I've ever experienced. Such a beautiful sight to see, thousands of floating lanterns throughout the nights sky and a unbeatable fireworks show at midnight!

    We chose this area as it was more relaxed than Porto central, but very easy to go between the 2 areas either on foot (downhill), or by metro, or tram. Also, all the port lodges are on this side of the River Duoro

    excellent atmosphere and good food available. On the opposite side of the river to Porto with a little less bustle. Many interesting areas to investigate including some quite newly built areas including the new cultural and entertainment area.

    We had two days and two nights here, but we wished it could have been a week. There is a great atmosphere of vibrant energy along the Douro waterfront and so much to see and do in both Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. We loved it!

    I really loved Gaia.

    I really loved Gaia. This is the destination I will definatelly visit again. I loved the nightlife and the Porto Wine tasting, I visited Calem. I recommend :). Everything is walkable, good restauration, cheaper boat tours and a good view on Porto.

    The hotel is beautiful and is in a fabulous location, the staff were amazing, Francisca on Guest relations was so helpful and Jao who escorted us to our room was so informative in the hotels history and also the area of Porto. My husband and I had a massage in the Spa, the Spa is beautiful and the therapists were so lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I as we had only limited time left at the hotel, I would highly recommend visiting the spa on your visit.

    What can I say? This is my second visit to Vincci Ponte de Ferro. I just love ❤️ this hotel. Should I visit Porto again, this will definitely be my first choice. Best location in the world. Always something happening right on your doorstep, we had a life concert 2 nights running just across the street. Sunset is an occasion and celebration every night right in front of the hotel, beautiful view of the Ponte Luiz 1 bridge, spectacular at night. Great hotel and staff.

    Breakfast was amazing! Location was very peaceful, quiet and in a beautiful green park. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room very spacious and comfortable but walls quiet undecorated and bathroom accessories incomplete: no place to hang used towels, no extra toilet paper... Still a very recommendable hotel to stay in Porto!
