The house owners are very polite and friendly. Location is also nice with a beautiful view to the mountains. Place is kept very clean and acces to bbq as well as a kitchen is provided, so you can cook your own meals if you want to. Price is also good.

Recommend to visit any of the thermal baths they have there (like the one in Central Hotel in Calimanesti) or the Aqcua Park Cozia. The Olt river has a nice little island, with a monastery on it, worth visiting. There is a nicely arranged path in the forest nearby, very good for a walk in the fresh air of the forest. Nice restaurants, clean streets, neatly arranged.

The view is nice From the park starts a trek that goes through the forest to Căciulata,recomanded Not so many restaurants in Călimănești,though Căciulata offer more restaurants and spa pools ,Complex Cozia for example and more trekking opportunities on the nearby mountains

It is a nice place, with an interesting architecture, lots...

It is a nice place, with an interesting architecture, lots of swimming pools and water tubes. It connects with Caciulata (you could say they are almost one city and not two). I would recommend it for thermal water, swimming pools, ferryboat on Olt river. I wouldn't recommend it for the heavy traffic periods, whidh is wasting some of your time. You have to wake up early, if you want to make sure your day is well spent and you're not staying in traffic.

A cozy small resort in a very beautiful place. To make full use of it (drink mineral water, visit different pools, explore the nature around, etc), you'll definitely need more than a week. Having a car would help significantly.

Very bad organisation take more than one hour to get the...

Very bad organisation take more than one hour to get the procedure for accommodation ,over one hour I get the key from room, staff from reception bin very rude ignored bin speak with my and in the same time on the phone. I booked accommodation at hotel Cozia and they give me room on hotel Caciulata.Im very disappointed. Many thanks M.Grapa

We wanted to try out the the thermal baths on the way back...

We wanted to try out the the thermal baths on the way back to Bucharest which was an experience. Unfortunately these thermal baths are always linked to banal hotel chains. So it is better to find a room in the many guesthouses around. A lot lays around that one main lane and the restaurant we chose didn't have good cuisine. So otherwise it is not a very authentic village. I was there too short but I think the place is interesting for hiking in nature.

Wonderful little hotel for a breakout in the beautiful area in the valley of the Oat river. The room (with balcony) are nice and clean - with a good bed and everytime warm. Food in the own restaurant is very good - not pricy and the service is very friendly and welcoming. The highlight is the outside thermal heated pool which is ideal to relax over the day and evening. If you need to buy some food or drinks - a supermarket is 3min walk distance away... best place in this town!

Everything was wow! The host was very kind, she helped us find transport to get around Călimănești. We even made some friends in the time we stayed. The entire house was clean, every room has a tiny bathroom enough so you can bath when it’s real late but it has normal baths too. It has a kitchen with everything from stove to coffee maker to grill outside so you can cook whatever you want. Overall a great place to stay, recommend 10 out of 10!

Where do I start, I loved this hotel so much we booked again on return trip, location excellent, great parking for large van, staff friendly, food fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, beds and bed linen super comfy, tea, coffee machine, water, fridge, everything in room, we stayed at back of hotel which allowed us to have balcony door open for fresh air, no real noise after 10pm even though right on road

In my opinion, this Hotel has the best SPA Area I have seen in this region. The Pools are very big, and they are kept at a high temperature constantly. Sauna is always on (during the operational hours) and it has a lot of room (compared with other hotels where they would turn it on for 1 hours and only if we booked it). The entire SAP was kept clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
