The location is near the Piatra Mare hiking trails - Piatra...
The location is near the Piatra Mare hiking trails - Piatra Mare peak, 7 Stairs gorge, Tamina waterfalls and gorge, etc. There were several warnings in the woods, remembering tourists how to prepare for encounters with wild brown bears, but luckily we haven't encountered any. The new Piatra Mare cabin was a a welcome surprise, offering traditional bean soup (very tasty) and some drinks and snacks, but sadly the other cabins in the area were abandoned. Good signs and markings on the trails, except at Tamina gorge - no sign was showing tourists to descend on the path to the right and than turn left at the creek to enter the gorge and climb the stairs through the gorge, then go up the hill to arrive at the starting location (no markings or signposts around and at the gorge).Guest review byChrisRomania

The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and cozy, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. Customer service was exceptional, with the staff being very attentive and responsive. The location is excellent, providing easy access to attractions while being peaceful and beautiful.
