It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult...
It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult smokes and most cafes don't enforce a non-smoking policy. I unfortunately stayed in the centre of Stari Grad where all the loud bars and clubs are and there is no real legal policy on noise pollution. I honestly don't know how people live here full time. Due to this, I had to stay in a lot of other places on the weekends (+ I also visited Belgrade on occassion). This meant I could (hopefully) get some quality sleep. But having said this, I didn't get to fully explore the city and all it has to offer but the main area of Stari Grad is very nice culturally and a nice place to walk. I also think the river should be more accessible with nice paths alongside it. It's either a main stretch of busy road or once you hit a certain place it's blocked off and you have to pay the beach venue to access it which is a shame.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Novi Sad comes alive at night, lots of bars, restaurants etc. We were lucky and arrived when there was live music at the fortress (free) and the once a month night market ( first Friday of the month, 6-12) where we sampled lots of local homemade produce. Novi Sad is an atmospheric city, but should be avoided in the hot summer because it can be crazy hot over there. City Center has a lot of bars and restaurants, view of the Danube is really good. Recommend.Guest review byRolland - 10.0

Top City, however too much anti-govt activity going on Not good for Tourism, road blocks in the middle of the day was not well thought out. It's really cute and small - easy to navigate.
It's really cute and small - easy to navigate. There are some wide roads that are a hassle to cross though. The parks are very nice. Exit was amazing, it seems like the whole city comes alive - there's plenty of places to go out outside of the festival. Beautiful city with masses to see and do. If you don't have air-conditioning or the air con doesn't work, make sure you use mosquito repellent if you have to sleep with the window open. The museums are fabulous and the guided tour at the museum of Novi Sad was excellent Flushing sewage into the Danube a few meters from the zeppelin cafe barge was unfortunate If you like walking and don't mind the heat it's a lovely place to visitGuest review byMartinUnited Kingdom
