Wonderful castle and walks around and through the city were most enjoyable. The area is flat so no problems with steep inclines. Interesting history with many photo opportunities. Kalmar is a nice city.
Kalmar is a nice city. The old city walls and the castle give it a good feel. It's easy to take a day trip to Öland from here. I wouldn't recommend this during the fall season as it gets quite cold and windy. I must recommend the restaurant E.A.T..
