Holiday House Oljka Kobdilj completely exceeded our expectations! We booked it for one night to attend a nearby wedding. But we wish we had booked it for a long weekend, or even a full week. The house is brand newly renovated with a very high spec. Outside area is just amazing, with a nice swimming pool, a nice garden, and a perfect lounge setup to chill under the sun or in the shade under a pergola. And the views are un-matched. All in all, it is even better in real life than what we expected from the pictures. We were almost late for the wedding, having fun around the swimming pool, while getting ready. Furthermore, host Ester went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated as best as possible. We flew in from London and had a severely delayed flight. Ester kept in touch throughout and made sure that our arrival was as painless as possible. We are really grateful to have met Ester and stayed in her house – we will definitely be back! By the way, as a cherry on top, you can buy quality Slovenian wine in the house at a very reasonable price ;)

We can't thank Laura enough for the wonderful wine tasting and all the things she shared about wine making, Slovenian traditions and the family estate. Not only was it just a beautiful area, we enjoyed how quiet and relaxing it was. We fell in love with the morning staff and the owner when we did the wine tour. The wine was fabulous and the history of the wine and culture was so interesting. The owner had so much knowledge and explained the wine beautifully. He even made his own meat and shared that with us for the food pairing. Felt like a meal! Will definitely come again!
