FAQs about hotels in Bangkok

Something for Everyone in Bangkok

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.

To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?

From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.

I love Bangkok with the variety of foods, great shopping and plenty to do and explore. Having authentic Chinese food at China town, Dim Sums and all you can eat seafood buffet in close proximity and easily to get to. Don't forget the relaxing massages after exploring all day are everywhere, these certainly take the stress out a busy day and are cheap. There is plenty to do for everyone, just plan your trip before getting here, watch out for the scammers and you will have a great time.

Bangkok as a city has everything for every type of traveler.

Bangkok as a city has everything for every type of traveler. If you want luxury shopping experiences you can visit the Rolls Royce, Mont Blanc. or Prada stores in the higher end shopping centers. If you want to haggle and get some local souvenirs you can hit any of the night or weekend markets for exactly that. If you are looking for cultural experiences there are temples, classes, tours and other options so you can learn about the fascinating history of the country. Sports Enthusiast? You can take in the fights at the worlds only Muay Thai specific stadium. Bangkok and Thailand as a whole is one of the worlds treasures, it is one of the few places that I recommend to anyone looking to travel and have adventures.

Perfect start to a touring holiday around Thailand.

Perfect start to a touring holiday around Thailand. Visit the Palace, the markets, sleeping budda, sumo wrestle or river markets to experience the culture, craziness of the streets, tut tuts or the chilled walks or boat rides down by the river. We've been to Thailand 3 times, travelling upto the north and to south and islands, travel is reasonably cheap from bangkok, definitely a good place to kick start your experience.

Visiting Bangkok and its nearby destinations was a memorable and fulfilling experience. The city offers a great blend of culture, food, and convenience, making each day of the trip enjoyable. Although I wasn’t able to visit the Grand Palace, exploring Ayutthaya and Pattaya made the journey incredibly worthwhile. Ayutthaya’s historical sites and ancient temples were fascinating, providing a peaceful glimpse into Thailand’s rich past. Pattaya, on the other hand, offered refreshing views at the Coffee War Café, where I was able to try authentic Thai tea. I also had the chance to see the Golden Buddha and visit the Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, which added even more variety to the trip. The food throughout the journey was delicious, with plenty of options to suit different preferences, including dishes that weren’t spicy. Transportation was easy and convenient, and having 7-Eleven stores nearby made it even more accessible for tourists to buy food or essentials at any time. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, diverse, and stress-free, and I would highly recommend visiting Bangkok along with nearby destinations like Ayutthaya and Pattaya for a well-rounded and unforgettable trip.

Excellent pre-arrival communication and front office staff. Professional, helpful and very friendly! The beds are among the best in Bangkok( we’ve experienced most high end 5 star hotels). Crisp and extremely comfortable with high quality linens and pillows.

Relatively cheap compared to other hotels in Bangkok, so you shouldn’t expect too much luxury, but for the price you pay it’s an absolutely okay hotel with swimming pool at a nice location.

Excellent! There is an escalator connecting the BTS station to the airport in front of the hotel and the CBD of Bangkok. Very convenient. The room is ok and the price is reasonable.
