I prefer to always stay on Bophut beach as I love the quietness and also at night the walking street is closed to cars so you can walk at your own leisure without having to worry about cars and bikes. The walking street is full of great restaurants to eat at with the most amazing food, even the food market is worth a visit with its entertainment and street food. Some of the restaurants we ate at were Bacaba, The Shack, Patuy restaurant, Nahm, 2 fishes, all amazing. Don't expect glam or luxury but do expect amazing customer service in a hotel located right in the heart of The Fisherman's Village. Close to everything and at a very affordable rate with complimentary use of snorkeling gear, look out for the two parrots on the beach and if you do want to see the Elephants please go to the rescue sanctuary city n the South of the island.
