Our honeymoon at Kanlaya's Eyrie was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by Philippe, Gayle, and their family, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the house and the breathtaking views. The Master Suite was pure luxury, offering a private jacuzzi pavilion with panoramic vistas. The ambiance of the house was simply enchanting, we enjoyed relaxing on the porch, taking in the serene surroundings. During our stay, we strolled to the river at the end of the property, followed by a fascinating Karen Tribe blessing ritual performed by Gayle's family. The candlelit dinner that evening was a culinary delight, featuring authentic Northern Thai cuisine prepared by Gayle herself. Releasing lanterns into the night sky was a truly magical experience. The next morning, we embarked on a pre-dawn adventure with Philippe and Pen, enjoying a delicious breakfast amidst the stunning mountain scenery. Philippe's deep knowledge of nature and his keen eye for detail allowed us to spot and appreciate numerous remarkable orchids. Pen's presence on the tour was invaluable, as her Thai language skills enabled seamless communication with locals and tribal people at the Koffie plantation. We then explored a remote temple, visited the Arabica Koffie plantation, and wandered through the charming village of Pang Mapha. Without Kanlaya's Eyrie and the personalized tours organized by Philippe, Gayle, and Pen, we would never have discovered this hidden gem of Thailand. This unforgettable experience has solidified our honeymoon as the most memorable part of our 3.5-week trip. We wholeheartedly give Kanlaya's Eyrie a perfect 10 out of 10. The hosts, Jittra and Gail, are helpful and really nice. They helped us with bus tickets and Jittra makes really good food. The place is clean and comfortable with nice garden and gorgeous views.

This property was beautiful. From the lofted A-frame cottage to the setting by the beautifully flowing stream right next to it. The cottage itself was actually more beautiful than depicted in the photos. We had originally only booked 1 night but because we had a flexible schedule and the cottage was so comfortable we stayed a second. I have come to the village of Soppong many times to visit the Tuesday Market where you can mingle with the many hill tribe people who come down to shop and gossip. I highly recommend this experience if you are planning to travel in this direction from Chiang Mai. If you do come don't hesitate to choose Baan Kaew MO Ra!!!

It’s super nice brand new villa and beautiful decorations. Me and my friends have very great time . So quiet and chill ,also swimming pool can change color . We love it 🩷

This place is a hidden gem just outside Pai, only 8 minutes from the nearest 7/11 next to the airport. Located along the roadside, as soon as you pass through the wooden gates, you enter a little haven of peace. One of the owners’ house is right at the entrance, and directly opposite is the reception area, which gives the first impression—an absolute sanctuary. From there, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains, a small wooden terrace with a water fountain, and chairs perfectly positioned to soak in the scenery. It’s incredibly peaceful. A stone path leads you further inside, where you’ll find a cozy fire pit area with chairs around it, perfect for evenings. Then you will find a covered wooden platform with a table, cushions, and a hammock with Mountain View. Along the bamboo fence, there’s also a home made wooden swing-style seating area. And the house—offering stunning mountain views! Especially from the balcony upstairs ! The house itself is stunning. It’s simple, well-designed, minimalistic, and modern. The aesthetic details, the plants, the pebbles around the bathtub, and that window facing the mountains—watching the sunset reflection from the bathtub is pure magic. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the décor, from the fabric of the cushions to the bedding, is in perfect harmony—1000% on point! Nothing is missing; everything has been thoughtfully planned. Slippers, laundry detergent and softener for the washing machine, bottled water, a full bathroom kit including combs—every travel essential is taken care of. Even the bathtub is set up with candles and a bath bomb for the perfect relaxation experience. Every evening, the fire was set up for us, creating a cozy ambiance with guirlande lights in the trees around. The small details make all the difference—like having more than just the exact number of coffee sachets for guests. Laundry detergent, UNO Cards, fan, etc. Everything is a huge plus!

The views are incredible! It’s so quiet and peaceful only nature sounds. I love how the land feels wild and happy. The owner is very friendly and an incredible artist. I was only planning on staying 2 nights but I’m still here and now volunteering we’ll see how long I stay!

The hotel is amazing, very comfortable and staff very friendly, I ended up sick and middle of the night they were so helpful and supportive. Thank you so much to everyone that despite the language barrier was there for me . amazing Thai massage. It is far from city but Pai require a transport so you would be fine then
