If you like peace and tranquility then this is the hotel. A little secluded on the north east coast of the island with amazing views. We had a villa which was kept immaculate by the house keeping staff which was down beside the pool and amazing views over the bay. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Saeed who made sure our stay was even more memorable. We hired a local taxi to be able to see all the sights of the island as well as using the daily hotel shuttle bus that takes you to Phuket Old Town which the street market on a Sunday afternoon is a must. Good food menu and we had a laugh every morning at breakfast to guess what extra items would appear on our plate after ordering. Thanks for a memorable stay.

absolutely loved the tranquility for the place, gorgeous and unique concrete structure and design. clean and comfortable, so pleasant to hear the nature early mornings when you wake up and splendid greens to fill your vision when you open your eyes in the morning. the manager and his wife were very accommodating and friendly, extremely helpful and reliable, they’d make you feel like at home and feels like family, will definitely visit them next time when I come back. hotel food and local restaurant offers the most delicious authentic Thai cuisine!

Perfect lay-out of villas and restaurants. Nice for walking on the island and same time to relax on the beach or swimming pool. Breakfasts are brilliants and staff is friendly. Buggy service is fast, that is very highly rated by our family. (You need to wait 1-2 minutes) It is like private island. (1/3 of island belongs to Naka) There is small village on the island (~100 local are living) Small school with 20-30 kids. Great walk to the local village and explore life of local Thai.

    It's great if you want to be away from everyone and just...

    It's great if you want to be away from everyone and just spend the majority of your time at a resort. It is 30-40 minutes from any main attractions any direction you go. Ideal for a peaceful and relaxing trip, but taxi fares and resort fares are a lot more expensive due to the isolation and added up rather quickly.

    Ao Por Bay is far from other places but really quiet and...

    Ao Por Bay is far from other places but really quiet and peaceful. Depending on the nature of the trip you can take a call if you want to centrally locate yourself or stay here. The only con is for all tours they dont pick you up from Ao Por and you need to travel to some other beach like Kamala or Karon beach to go for tours. If you are not going for tours then this place makes sense. Additionally you can also try Nai Yang beach as well for a quiet place away from touristy places.
