We never made it to the town centre as we were on a short break. Land of Legends is what most people come for. Our Grandchildren loved the park. The shopping centre is first class with a huge range of shops to choose from. There are some excellent restaurants, with prices to suit most budgets. The hotels in Belek are beautiful and well-maintained, and the Land of Legends is definitely worth visiting. The beach is also clean and enjoyable. Be cautious with taxis and small shops that don’t display prices. There are many scams – I once forgot to ask the price for a glass of orange juice and ended up paying $10! The area around Megasaray Club Belek has lots of interesting historic sites to visit. We especially enjoyed our trip to Aspendos. But on the hotel grounds itself there were numerous activities which we really enjoyed, especially the archery. That was new for us and we have learnt a lot (thanks to Vadim!). The food was fantastic in all cafes and restaurants. The evening entertainment programme was involving and interesting. Belek is a wonderful place for traveling.
Belek is a wonderful place for traveling. It isn't that easy to walk around as the area is mostly resorts but if you stay at one of them it would def be a great experience. If you stay at Paradise Town Villas you need a taxi to get to most nearby locations such as Kadriye Centre, Belek Centre and Land of Legends. Same with the local beaches, not really walkable. I felt that it was good value for money. It was also nice that they restock the mini bar in your room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee shop cafe with drinks and snacks daily was nice as well. The zoo is a nice addition to the resort. The baggage wrap was a very cool initiative from the hotel.
