It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from...
It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from comparing to HuaLiang which is 18KM south of XinCheng. But, this town is also 18 KM closer to Taroko National Park. The rooms were spacious, clean and with excellent views. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean and modern. In general, the place had a relatively new feel. The accommodation has a small pool and a big indoor play area for kids, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Although there was a bit of a language barrier (little english spoken!) the owners were also very friendly and welcoming!
