Very friendly host who makes sure you have a great experience. The house is right on the beach with your own private sun beds to lay on. If you are looking for a peaceful beach vacation in Zanzibar on budget, this is your place. There are some good restaurants near by, especially the White Dream restaurant, which serves the best authentic Italian food.

The hotel is great, the rooms are nice and clean, the garden is beautiful. Remo and Bertram deserve special mention. They do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. I have been to many hotels and the staff were often very helpful and friendly, but these two and everyone else like the cook, cleaning lady, etc. just do everything. The service is world class! My partner had an accident, Bertram brought him some soup without asking, and before that, our whole breakfast was brought to the room on the top floor without asking. Remo contacted the doctor and helped us with a Masai stick because my partner had difficulty walking. We then wanted to spend a few more nights in the sister hotel "Sofia Sea View" and we got a good deal for this and Remo took us there too. This hotel is also really nice and a bit more luxurious with larger rooms and direct beach access. Bertram also accompanied us to ATMs or Remo drove us there by car. I can really recommend both hotels to everyone. I have never experienced better service, but one that is so unobtrusive, sensitive and just incredibly friendly and kind. We will definitely be back and miss it there. You really feel like "at home".

The staff at Alpha Boutique were very pleasant and eager to ensure we were comfortable.They welcomed us in when we requested for early check in given our flight time and also took the initiative to send an airport shuttle upon our arrival at 3am. Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean.

Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean. Lots of restaurants, bars and snack shops from higher end and usual fare to local pubs and dining. Beautiful views, jet ski, kite surfing and dhow or outrigger hires for snorkeling. beautiful clear water and you can walk the sandbars at low tide or swim there at high tide. An hour or so from Stone Town hustle and bustle, but still close enough for a day excursion.

The beach is arguably one of the best on the island—long, swimmable, and vibrant. While it has more energy and amenities than a secluded spot, we still found it peaceful and relaxing, especially during the mornings. It's the perfect base for anyone who wants both stunning beach life and easy access to restaurants and activities.

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

Paradise. Very long and large beach, friendly local people, very calm and quite place. We loved it. Its very save even in the nightwalks on the beach. There are some restaurants, coffee places where you can drink fresh, cocktails or snacks.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Beautiful place, right on the beach. Wake up to a Zanzibar sunrise and locals buying fish straight off the boats. Very calm and relaxing environment. Swim at high tide, and at lowtide you can stroll to a nearby sandbank. The pool is a huge plus, and the deck is made for short, relaxing naps. I would highly recommend this for anyone trying to get away from a resort type holiday, but still want the convenience of breakfast and cleaning service. Great service by the staff!

The Loft Villa with beach facing private pool was our favorite. The staff were extremely courteous and were always helpful. They take every little request very seriously and go extra mile to keep their guests happy. I would like to thank Angela for her hospitality and also Sanjay for going extra mile in bringing a smile on our faces. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will highly recommend this resort to those planning to stay in a beach resort in Zanzibar.

- Beautiful view of the ocean with the very long Kiwengwa beach right outside the hotel. - Amazing infinity pool with comfortable sun beds where we without any problems could spend a whole day. Also, a very nice bar in the pool. - Very nice and clean room with all necessities. - Loved the breakfast. The best out of three different hotels we visited on Zanzibar.

Our honeymoon stay at Z-Lodge Zanzibar in August 2023 was a dream come true. The exquisitely decorated room added a touch of romance to our experience, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
