We had a wonderful and regenerating stay at Marafiki. Structure is amazing, every bungalow has its own patio and all details are curated from interiors to the exteriors (common areas, pool, subbeds and restaurant). We were coming from Nungwui which is more chaotic and we really had relaxing 3nights, where we enjoyed meals at the restaurant and delicious included breakfast. I also experienced pilates class and massage. A special mention goes to the staff, very friendly and helpful. You guys made us feel at home! Very much recommended

The property is awesome. It has a great management. Mr Simai is the greatest person you can meet, very helpful, caring and responsive. Whenever I needed something he helped me. I had few special request and I’m very thankful to him for helping me out. View on the ocean 🌊 - this is really exiting. You can see and hear the ocean every day and every minute. Breakfast is really tasty, and the coffee is one of the best I ever drank. Come and see for yourself.

Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

    Paradise.

    Paradise. Very long and large beach, friendly local people, very calm and quite place. We loved it. Its very save even in the nightwalks on the beach. There are some restaurants, coffee places where you can drink fresh, cocktails or snacks.

    I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.

    I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

    Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.

    Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

    Wonderful place. I fell in love.

    Wonderful place. I fell in love. My favorite place was the Z lodge, they had supper friendly staff who helped me at any time around the clock. It is easy to get around since Z lodge has in house vehicles and great drivers. Would visit again

    Front staff in the hotel was really welcoming and helped with all questions we had. The food was on top of the world. Breakfast buffet amazing and more then we expected. The chicken mango sushi was the best one I tried in Zanzibar. Also biriani was good. We had the seafood platter and its was so much food and the enjoyment was on top. We were possible to enjoy food both in the restaurant and also room service in the room. 10/10 Hotel highly recommended. Would love to come back

    They don’t smile at all. I’ve never seen that in any hotel here in Zanzibar. Food took 1h to come during lunch & dinner. I wasn’t feeling well to grab the breakfast, so my wife took me 2 croissants from there to bring to the room. And they started to fight with her because food cannot go out. Have you ever seen this ? During our checkout, the belarussian girl didn’t say us thank you for staying with us. I don’t advice to stay there ! There’s much better places to stay.

    Sipano was an awesome place to spend our time in Kiwengwa! The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. This lodge was cosy, welcoming, and had such an amazing sea view. There was daily room service, and the staff were receptive to our requests. We were able to plan our various activities at Sipano, which made our trip enjoyable and stress free. This lodge was good value for money, and we will definitely visit again the next time we are in Zanzibar!!

    The Zanbluu Beach Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Zanzibar. You can enjoy a very good breakfast in the morning and a good Dinner in the evening at the Main Hall which has a great view on the sea. The Facility was great and good managed. The quality of the food is very high and the kitchen has a lot of potential albeit minor mistakes to fix to realize this potential. The staff as well as the managers were very friendly.

    We had a fantastic stay at Boho Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was a real highlight — delicious with great variety each day. The location is perfect: close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!
