It was beautiful, check out Arrowwood resort and conference center. Casey's amusement park, everything was awesome. They have beautiful lakes and parks, this is a place to slow down but access the fun when you're ready. Food was great here we tried loro tacos and Talltrees restaurant exceptional, the KFC was decent as well.Guest review byfrances - 10.0

It was a bustling weekend - Memorial Day weekend is a good time to visit. So much to explore, lots of vendors set up in the different parks, farmer's markets, art vendors, food trucks, music. Alexandria is great, but the hotel was not.
Alexandria is great, but the hotel was not. No one could stay there as they had no cleaning or staff. There were a lot of mad people. I was in town as my mother had a stroke and I was there from Arizona to see her. Luckily we found a hotel that had a cancellation so we could stay. What a dump and what a mess.
