The Home of Mickey Mouse

Only 40 kilometres from downtown Los Angeles, Anaheim is a modern city in Orange County, California. Best known as the location for Disneyland Resorts, it’s also famous for the largest convention centre on the West Coast, the Anaheim Convention Center.

Founded in 1857 by a group of German wine makers and farmers from Bavaria, the place soon became a rural community filled with orange and lemon groves. You can have a taste of some of the area’s fresh produce at the local Farmer’s Market.

Most people visit Anaheim to experience the wonderful world of Disney characters and stories at the iconic Californian landmark, Disneyland. After the excitement of rides and parades, you can always relax on a beach; famous Sunset Beach is just a short drive away.

If you’re a sports fan, then pay a visit to the Angel Stadium, also known as The Big A, home to one of the most popular professional baseball league teams, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Another popular venue is the Honda Center, also called The Pond, where you can enjoy major hockey games.

    The city was clean and nice.

    The city was clean and nice. We felt safe walking late at night. There were some mental heath homeless people at night. But durning the day we did not see anyone sketchy. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. We has a car and were able to see other areas that were not as well kept as Anaheim. It would have been nice to have more time to see more of the area.

    All ranges of accommodation from 5-star to hostels and are central to both the Convention Center and Disneyland. A 5-10 minute walk to get to a restaurant, bus, or convenience store. Temperate year round. Layer clothing from mid October to mid March. Easy, quick access to all the beaches and the mountains; Hollywood, Palm Springs; and every micro climate and cultures that richly define southern California!

    If you are going for Disney Land, then it will be fun, but...

    If you are going for Disney Land, then it will be fun, but there is not much else to do here, there are some outlets but with traffic it took us almost 2 hours to make it back to the hotel. We mainly ate at Disney, and we did grub hub food 2 nights. If you are going to Disney and not staying within walking distance to the parks, there is a city shuttle that you can take but be warned, IT TAKES FOREVER to drive by some of the hotels, the drivers are very nice and helpful but we spent alot of time waiting for the shuttle to come by and pick us up, so just be prepared.

    EVERYTHING was PERFECT!!! I forgot to add up a picture. Will recommend this hotel a million times. Thanks to the staff, very professional helpful kind and caring. You guys meet all our expectations. Breakfast was really yummy 😋 We wore able to go and took 2 hours nap pick up dinner and went back to the other park with lots of energy. We cannot wait for our next trip. Thanks for everything

    I wouldn't stay here again the price is really high for the small room the rooms need to be upgraded for sure dingy torn furniture the staff in the morning is nice however the night stuff is very rude the maids woke me up every morning at 6:00 a.m. rolling their loud carts by my window talking very loud

    We spent 1 day at Calif. Adventure at Disneyland.

    We spent 1 day at Calif. Adventure at Disneyland. Then spent 2 days at Disneyland. We did Star Wars night at Disneyland after taking a 1 1/2 hr nap late in the afternoon as it lasts to 1AM. So much FUN!!! Its 5 miles from Knott's Berry Farm which takes a full day to do with much less people & shorter lines--like 12 minutes max!! Plus you are less than 30 minutes to the Beach & Pacific Ocean.

    Comfy and clean rooms. Staff so lovely and welcoming. Free "appetisers" Mondays-Wednesday nights. These were amazing, enough to fill us up for dinner, as included a basic salad bar and drinks aswell! So very thoughtful of the hotel for putting on. Included breakfast also delicious, plenty of variety. Kids loved the waffles!! Basic kitchen in room with large fridge, super handy for making lunches to take to Disneyland. Easy 15 minute walk to gates of Disneyland/California Park. Would stay again if came back to Anaheim.

    I have stayed at many places near disneyland and this has been the best. Location, across the lights and that the gate so if you want to come out it's not far. Lots of places to eat at the entrance. Maccas, Ihop 25hrs, Dennys 24hrs and Mexican. Staff were lovely and they do promos for posting on Socials. Free popcorn which is yummy. Freddy is great at the front desk.
