Cathedral City is generally more affordable that other locations in the greater Palm Springs area. It easy to get to the I10 and to the shopping areas in Palm Desert. It is a little further from the downtown Palm Springs area but the drive is easy and has more than one option for routing that allows you to avoid traffic.
