Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is absolutely stunning and was surprisingly less packed than what I had figured with the time of year. The outdoor drama Unto These Hills is worth going, it was absolutely beautiful and would go back to see it again. The Branded Cattle Steakhouse and Native Brews Tap & Grill were both on hour long waits, and both menus looked great, but we were too hungry and opted for Burger King. We absolutely love floating the Ocanlufte river, the indigenous people and all the attractions. The hiking trails are amazingly beautiful and to be able to experience a close encounter with the elk is awesome! As for a great breakfast, Peter’s Pancake and Waffle House is the bomb! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but totally worth it! For dinner we usually grab a chicken dinner to go at the “All fried up” restaurant and take it back to our room to enjoy, but if you are looking for a great seafood restaurant, take a 14 mile trip to Sylvia to the Creekside Oyster house! Best seafood in N.C. In my opinion. If you enjoy hiking be sure to go to Bryson to the Deep creek hiking trails where you can see 3 different waterfalls , people tubing, and all sorts of beautiful nature all on the well maintained trails.Guest review byBorton - 10.0

Cherokee has really done some growing since I was there shortly after the pandemic. Great new eateries, nice hotels. Getting around Cherokee was easy. Husband and I are both seniors and we did the Oconaluftee River tubing. We had a ball! Highly recommend. We loved staying in Cherokee.
We loved staying in Cherokee. The weather was beautiful while we were there. We were able to enjoy The Oconaluftee River and visited the Oconaluftee Indian Village. We came back in the evening for the outdoor drama, Unto these Hills. We're so glad we did. I highly recommend seeing this outdoor drama. The shopping in Cherokee was fun. The only thing I couldn't find was a deck of cards with the Cherokee emblem on them, as a gift. We hope to return again because we enjoyed it so much. Just enjoyed being in Cherokee . just a couple of days get away from work. we ate at Paul restaurant, food was excellent. the rebuen was one of the best i've ever had. we had breakfast at Pete's waffle& pancakes' everything we had was very good. would recommend these two places to eat. did not do a lot of activies due to my husband recovering from hip replacement' ETHELGuest review byGary W. /EthelUnited States

TJ was very attentive when he explained everything we needed to know. The room had disability access and there were plenty of grab bars which made it very safe. The choices for the breakfast buffet were substantial, we always love the waffle station. The hotel was easy to find even though there was construction in the area.
