Nice place to stop in the middle of our travels. The room could have used some brighter lightbulbs. The beds were very comfy and the staff was friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.
I think I’d ask for a room further from the pool. That may have contributed to the high humidity in our room.

We stayed here to go to a high school graduation of a relative. Neal's Nest was small, cute, and irresistibly relaxing and fun. There was no awkward "check-in" process, although I think we met the owner's child - a very polite young man who invited us to enjoy a fire that he built.
It was much like camping out or staying in a pool cottage -- quiet, serene, and peaceful. We loved it!
Understand that this place is small and cozy without the amenities of a sterile stand hotel chain. To us, that was delightful.

I booked through booking.com . I don’t know if it was their fault or Quality Inn but it was a hassle with my credit card. I got charged twice because even though the staff ran my card when I checked in and I signed. She came to our room a couple of hours later and said it didn’t charge it so I had to go back to the office and she ran it again. I checked my credit card a little later and it showed two charges!
Quiet, after a week plus of noisey hotel chains it was nice to be far enough away from town to get away from all that yet close enough to not be a bother. Bed, pillows and amendments were better than above mentioned places.
