Beautiful location highly recommend the barnacle Bill boat tours; especially the sunset tour. Very quiet area with a few things for children and adults to do. Did not find the island folk very welcoming.

Was there for a long weekend (not pony swim) which is just the right amount of time to do what there is to do there. Enjoyed Assateague Beach, Assateague National Seashore attractions, took a boat tour, water sports and walked around Chincoteague. Also went to NASA Wallops Flight Center Visitor Center which is only open on the weekends. Island Creamery worth the trip.

I always enjoy my stay in this charming beach town!

I always enjoy my stay in this charming beach town! I highly recommend Famous Pizza and Saigon Village restaurants. This town is very bikeable/walkable. Nature lovers will enjoy spotting the wild horses, birds, and other wildlife in the Wildlife Refuge as well as the ample kayaking opportunities. History buffs will enjoy the town's museum and the 19th century Captain Timothy Hill House.

    Love Chincoteague Island.

Love Chincoteague Island. Have been traveling to Chincoteague for year and absolutely love the island and beach there. This is the first time I stayed overnight on the island. I have always stayed at the nearby by Trails End Camping / Trailer Community off island on the mainland near Wallops Island NASA / Military Base.

Chincoteague is a small quaint town with cute shops, antique stores, restaurants and is very close to Assateague which is known for the wild horses that run on the beach. On our way into Chincoteague we saw NASA's Projects at Wallops. They actually shoot off rockets from here. It was fascinating. There is alot to explore in the Chincoteague area. I will be back.

This was our 3rd stay in Chincoteague.

This was our 3rd stay in Chincoteague. The locals are so laid back and friendly. Ready to help letting us know places to eat. One of the few places we go that folks on the street actually say hello. I would recommend Famous Pizza. Good menu and they delivery to the Hotels. Have ordered from them several times. Also, Steamers for Seafood. It appears to be a favorite locals spot. Dons would be a good choice also. A bit pricier that Steamers. Had lunch this time at Blackfins. Good food.

We stayed in a beautifully updated room, but overall the staff very incredibly lovely, many thoughtful touches around the place including access to bikes, picnic baskets and the likes for those on holiday, the breakfast was incredible, and the location is perfect for a stay in Chincoteague. Overall we had a lovely time! Love the special touches in the room including guide and history books.

A Victorian style B&B with all modern amenities, including central air conditioning, located in the heart of Chincoteague. Diana was a gracious host, and we spent a lot of time talking about the B&B and life on the island.
