Its been a very long time since last visit and the improvements of roads and hotel choices are awesome. I would have liked to stay for at least a week to get to see everything again and use the lake for boating and some fishing. This area is home for me, I grew up a short distance away. If I win the lottery, I'll buy a beach front home and spend my summers and early falls there! 😁. It's bicycle friendly which is a bonus. It's laid back with friendly people. It epitomizes MN Nice. I have memories of DL from when I was a kid and love that it's grown and offers much more than I remember.
