It's a nice small town with several things to do in the area...
It's a nice small town with several things to do in the area. Ghosttown Trail starts in town. Railroad museums nearby including the Horseshoe Curve the Cresson Tunnel. And there are many beautiful views/vistas as you travel the local roads.

We went there to visit family.
We went there to visit family. It was close to them, that is the only good thing I can say about the place. Broken down bathroom ( couldn't even shower) and had to move things around to find plugs for tv and fridge. It also didn't have a continental breakfast. No coffee and cold cereal and toast is not nearly what I expected. You will want to take your own coffee pot.

The one person wasn't sure about anything.
The one person wasn't sure about anything. Frustrating and stressful. The next person was well organized and in control. of the situation. Made the best of the mis-understandings and was very helpful.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! The hotel did not have working bathrooms for 2 days. Then when they finally moved us to a new room it was dirty. We had to sleep in our trucks because the manager refused to refund our money back for the next few nights because he accused us of no longer needing the rooms. The manger is rude and inconsiderate about our problems. All he cared about was keeping the money and not making it right with his guest. Please save yourself the trouble and do not stay here.

Best deal in Ebensburg! The owners really fixed this place nicely, it's a previously-owned bar/motel with questionable reputation in past years but now it's terrific. Highly recommend! They always take good care of us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

The room was probably the cleanest hotel room that we ever stayed in. Also, the linens and towels we either new or like new. The staff was equally excellent. We will stay there again, and you should too!
