It has lots to offer in services, places to eat, and activities. Maybe a few more restaurants would have been nice. Lots of easy access to shopping, groceries, hardware stores etc. Quiet and less touristy then some areas. Any beach we went to had plenty of parking and was not over crowed. Would have liked a few more bike trails. We went to Barlett Beach which is pet friendly, we also spent an afternoon at the beach at Ahern State Park (very peaceful), and we went to Weirs Beach which was not crowded and had shaded areas with picnic tables as well as a good sized sandy beach.Guest review byJoan - 6.0

Lake and surrounds are really nice. We were there for hiking and did Gunstock and Redhill near Lake Squam. Great views and were lucky with the weather. No convenient EV charging although plenty at Tilton (Flo) but its a drive to get there.Guest review byTimAustralia - 10.0

I love Gilford!
I love Gilford! I attend Soulfest every year & camp mountainside at Gunstock Mountain. This particular trip was to attend a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion with friends and we also did a little hike up to Mount Major. We had a great time as always.Guest review byKELLY
