    We didn't venture farther than a radius of about 5 miles, but we were really impressed with the variety of culinary choices...we were enthused also by a large Dollar Tree (we had no time for the mall). :-) We did enjoy Zaxby's and Captain D's!!

    The staff from check-in, breakfast the next morning and check-out the next morning was excellent. Made sure we had what we needed for our time there. I loved the fact that they had a no pet policy. I have allergeries and even though rooms ae suppose to be cleaned after pets stay I always seem to know they have been there. So this was a plus for me to stay at this motel.

    It is a small but vibrant town.

    It is a small but vibrant town. Not much time to look around but there are plenty of hotels/motels to choose if money is not a factor. Lots of different restaurants, mostly key chain names. Is easy to navigate around town. It is not a vacation spot but I heard the Halpatter Brewing is a nice place to go for a light lunch and drinks and if you like shopping there is the Webb's Antique Mall and there is the Lake City Historical Museum.

    I have been coming to Lake City since I was a little girl to be with my daddy side of the family and what I like about Lake City is whenever u turn ur head it's always something to do and somewhere to eat

    Friendly small town vibe and it was perfect for a stopover to rest from the highway. We ate at a Denny's that was close to the hotel, every one was friendly and there was vintage car in the parking lot.

    This hotel charged too much for the shape it was in.

    This hotel charged too much for the shape it was in. Poor condition and room was dirty. Will never stay here again. When we opened the little refrigerator it obviously had not been cleaned. Exploded soda all over. The bedding was old and tattered. The bed looked so sloppy. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. There was a lid off something laying on the floor by the toilet. Just a poor quality room for the price charged!! Never again!

    This is a classic old fashioned motel that has been well kept and is nicely appointed. Comfortable bed, good heating and AC unit that worked well . It was very clean . The couple who manage the motel were terrific — friendly, helpful etc . A few minutes after I got my room , the manager came to my room and explained the TV system , which saved me the usual trouble of trying to figure out how the TV worked . I would certainly stay here again .

    Lovely hotel. Situated on great place with its of great restaurants close by. Very comfortable room with great facilities. Staff could not have been more helpful. Continental breakfast was sufficient.
