    I loved being at the lighthouse and being at the ocean. I had not been out that way since I was about 10. And that was a very, very long time ago. The town of montauk was fun to explore and walks on the beach were always pleasant. I also got to see some minke whales just through my binoculars! Food was quite good. Quancho’s had amazing fish tacos. The Bambi cafe had a lovely light avocado toast with vegan feta which had wonderful flavor. The Left Hand made great coffee. Their flat white was one of the best.

    Montauk is beautiful.

    Montauk is beautiful. It feels like you’re away in the Caribbean but it’s just a few hour drive which makes it perfect if you’re close to NY and don’t want to fly. There are beaches, restaurants and shopping to fulfill everyone’s needs. It’s family friendly too.

    Wonderful place for relaxing beach or pool side. Plenty of activities and places to explore, especially the parks. Great restaurants and amenities. Being out at the point is the best place on Long Island, in my opinion.

    Regrettably, the uber rich continue their conquest of the jewel that was Montauk. If you didn’t know the difference between Amagansett and Montauk before then you are fine. If you are trying to enjoy a more moderate crowd time is running out.

    montauk is awesome. so much to do, hiking, beach, boating, shops, restaurants. it's expensive yes, but a very casual and laidback vibe. I'm from ny, so being there makes me feel like I'm nowhere near NY. LOVE montauk!

    Waking up to the sound of waves crashing into the sandy beach, enjoying the mesmerizing sunrise from the ocean-facing balcony, and then watching whales and dolphins breaking the surface, trying to catch early morning fish, is a billion-dollar experience. Besides being clean and cozy, the hotel had a fantastic accomodating and caring staff. Other hotel guests were friendly and quiet.

    There are no words to describe how wonderful my stay at this hotel was. This is my second year going to Montauk and staying here. Last year I rented a room and this year one of their apartments. We had a BBQ and cooked marshmallows outside. Not to mention the meditation place they have as well. The place is vintage but perfectly clean, unbeatable prices!

    Really Nice Decoration hotel. Entering the room smells clean. My best friend and I spent a really nice weekend in the 2 double bed bedroom. Warm Welcome. Possible to have access to the sister hotel haven which is nice also. Free coffee and tea at the reception for the morning. I will definetely coming back

    The space was perfect for three adults staying one night. We had a fantastic sunset view. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was too windy to sit on and fully enjoy the balcony, but such is life in Montauk!
