Danfords was completely decorated for the holiday season...
Danfords was completely decorated for the holiday season during our December 10th - 11th stay. otally puts you in the Christmas spirit. The accommodations were beautiful. We booked a room that had 2 queen sized beds as our 21 year old son was supposed to be with it us, the beds were in totally separate areas (room) with tvs for each room. He couldn't make it due to work . But allowed for privacy. It was also a gorgeous room. We went to see a play A Christmas Carol at Theatre 3. Had a wonderful dinner at The Prohibition - excellent. Topped it off with a stop for night cap at Danfords restaurant - amazing atmosphere. Breakfast at the Z Pita - excellent. Hot Chocolate and Peppermint fudge at Kilwins - excellent. The owner was making the fudge and gave us several free samples. . We also did some Christmas shopping in town - beautiful shops we unique gifts . Everyone from Danfords staff as well as the restaurants' staff were amazingly friendly. We will definitely be doing the Port Jefferson Danfords weekend getaway again in the future but this time we'll make it 3 day weekend.Guest review byCatherineUnited States
