Great museums, wonderful shops, galleries, restaurants and bars. We especially loved the following restaurants: Park Shore Grill; Ceviche; and The Left Bank. The following museums were excellent: The James Museum of Western Art; the Dali Museum; and the St. Petersburg History Museum. Beach Drive is a great place for upscale shopping and dining. The town seems to be very dog-friendly (which we love!). St. Petersburg is a city filled with wonderful museums, beautiful gardens and great restaurants. It is easy to get in and out of the downtown area and very walkable. The nearby beaches are fantastic as are the natural parks that are within a short drive from the city. Any one can find plenty to do and see in the St. Pete’s area. Staff go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. The queen room is good, with a mini fridge and microwave, which is handy. The king suite is fantastic and fully equipped for cooking perfect for a longer stay. I appreciated the private blinds, effective air conditioning, and fans that kept the room cool and huge bathroom and living areas. Beds are very comfortable, and everything was spotless.
