Nice place. Interestingly, their "Amish" are EXTREMELY MODERN AND WEALTHY when compared to the Amish of Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York. The train Museum is lovely. It's a lovely, historic old town.
It's a lovely, historic old town. We felt quite safe and comfortable walking to dinner and the ice cream shop after dark. Our main purpose for visiting was riding the Strasburg Railroad and visiting the PA state railroad museum. They never disappoint.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Interesting Sites. We took a 45 minutes ride on the STEAM TRAIN. Viewing the countryside and seeing farmers with their team of horses working the land was fascinating. We visited the Choo Choo Barn, a Fantastic Large Miniature Train Layout. AWESOME animation! The Ice Cream Shop a few steps away is a MUST VISIT.
