    My stay was great.I would highly recommend this destination to everyone that wants a comfortable, affordable and friendly spot to go. The things I appreciated most was no extra fee for pets,a great variety for breakfast and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Upward is a great friendly town .

    Upward is a great friendly town . It is near tons of shopping, restaurants, aquarium, and zoo, which were all just beautiful to visit and eat at. We especially loved the little town and the lodge on McMurray Road was beautiful and I had so much to offer there also. The lodge that we stayed at was very close to Pretty Place, Chapel in Cleveland South Carolina, which was breathtaking. We recommend anyone to go to upward North Carolina.

    We love the mountains, restaurants General store in downtown Hendersonville. A great way to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of your wwekly routine. I higly recommend it, fresh air, whata concept.

    Another 2 days to visit restaurants + shops.. Swim in the hotel pool Flat Rock Playhouse ,,,Million Dollar Quartet was truly a totally awesome performance with an amazing cast of highly talented actors....

    Everything!!!!!! The staff were friendly and attentive. The environment and grounds were beautiful. The hotel was rustic and cozy. The hotel in entirety was spotlessly clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having the kitchenette was handy and saved us quite a bit on our budget to cook and eat in our room. The heated pool was amazing and relaxing. My son has autism and he was ecstatic over swimming in the dark with just the light of the pool. I will definitely stay here again and again when traveling through.

    This hotel is simply AMAZING! You walk in the front doors and feel like your at home with family. The staff legitimately cares about their customers. The house keeping staff are incredible, rooms perfectly cleaned daily. The pool is warm and the bonfire was the perfect ending to a great race weekend! I can’t thank the owner Scott and his front of house staff enough, every time we walked in the door we heard a “Welcome Home”.

    This was a great stay my family. The hotel was welcoming and cozy feeling on arrival. All staff we interacted with from arrival to departure were friendly and kind. Our room was larger than expected (I didn’t realize we’d have a kitchenette), very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to the Hendersonville area.

    The Lodge didn't feel like a hotel at all. It was more of a B&B, and I appreciated that. I also liked that it was tucked away and not in a super busy area, but shopping and restaurants were easily accessible.
