United StatesLoved everything about Meadowcliff - excellent communication before, during and after our stay, friendly staff, gorgeous scenery all around, beautiful grounds with grassy area, nice pool with perfect temperate, our room was spotless, super comfortable and cool and with more than we needed. Loved how the sun set behind the mountain cooling things off well before sunset. Just beautiful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We stayed at this hotel before when Sam the previous owner...
We stayed at this hotel before when Sam the previous owner was there. Now it’s under new ownership. It’s was not the same. We booked two rooms. One of them didn’t have hot water. The ac didn’t work well since they use swamp coolers. The owner has been there for only a few months and I think he is overwhelmed. As far as the room himself, it needs new curtains the ones that we had wooden close right they were pretty old ann Cow webs all over the ceilings. Cute highway through the middle town that's taken a hit...
Cute highway through the middle town that's taken a hit lately from a major wildland fire some years back. Some took a hard loss and others rebuilt, remodeled and continue. Nice folks and tough breed who have managed to survive the difficulties of living in a very rural location. Nice place to stop for a bite or night. Walker is a great little town with just enough of everything...
Walker is a great little town with just enough of everything. The Mountain View BBQ should be a must stop for any 395 travelers. Many people like Walker Burger but I wasn’t impressed. Beware, everything shuts down at 19:00 so you need to eat before arriving if you’re going to be later.Guest review byDonUnited States
